There are so many parts of this that I'd like to highlight and restock, so many lines that spoken directly to me. Especially as a Christian but even beyond that, it almost feels like a sin to be upset by things that it's normal to be upset about. As if you're not grateful. It's bullshit and dismissive. You're allowed to feel your feelings! Your heart is big enough to contain multitudes. I needed this reminder. Your series was beautiful ♥️🌹

Haha! We are all guilty of it. While it’s understood that the intentions are good, it could easily feel like a person’s feelings are dismissed when ppl try to make them feel better right away. We don’t always have to jump to a solution… let ppl feel what they’re feeling lol

It can be really draining yet powerful to just sit with everything and let ourselves feel it all without rushing for a solution... but I know it’s healthy 🫶🏾

So. True. Sometimes I find that holding on during hard transitions or seasons and giving all my energy out of desperate feelings of relief actually mask the actual issue. Its a viscous cycle.
